The Trade Representative: Iran is intending to increase export of agriculture products to Russia

"Iran maintain the intention to increase export of agriculture products to Russia and plans to open a transit corridor through the Caspian region. Iran is planning to supply fish, shrimps, chicken, vegetables, fruits, including apples, to all Russian food retail chains," – Luganskiy said.


In the end of February, Russia and Iran initialed veterinary certificates on supplies of eggs, meat, offals of cattle, sheep, goats and poultry. Iranian companies already started supplying fish and seafood to Russia in early March; potential of such supplies is about 100 thousand tons per year – Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
